Sheet metal worker (metal/insulation/industry)
For our client, an international family business with branches in Emmen, Delfzijl, Hengelo and Meppen (Germany), due to growth in the order book, we are looking for motivated colleagues who want to work as sheet metal workers. We are looking for someone with spatial and technical insight, who can customize metal from a drawing. Both experienced and with a healthy dose of enthusiasm and interest, you are welcome to apply! Our client is active in the field of thermal and acoustic insulation, scaffolding construction, tracing and fire resistant penetrations. As a sheet metal worker you will be working at the workshop in Emmen or Hengelo.

Job Description
As a sheet metal worker, you are a specialist in machining and processing metal sheets and other materials in the metal industry. You deal with cutting, bending, punching, cutting and welding metal sheets, and you can read this from a drawing. It is important that you work accurately because you are dealing with custom work. You are also handy with tools and machines, so you can shape and assemble the metal into a finished product.
You check that the finished product meets the specifications and standards set. Because you work in the workshop, it is important that you work in an orderly and clean environment. This also falls under your responsibility. You identify malfunctions of machines and tools so they can be fixed.
You are in good physical condition because you perform physical work.
Are you handy, but have no experience with this work? Then we will gladly teach you the trade!

- You have relevant training/experience or are open to pursuing it;
- You hold or are willing to obtain your VCA certificate;
