Our client is looking for full-time toppers in their production facility where you will be responsible around the entire furniture upholstery process.
Job Description
As a furniture upholsterer, you will work with colleagues on the high quality of our client’s chairs, lounge sofas and desk and cabinet walls. Sometimes you work on larger series, sometimes on a very special project. Depending on your suitability for the trade and within the team, you may be hired as an experienced worker or, on the contrary, as a school leaver who can imagine a bright future in a furniture upholsterer’s shop.
No experience, but a school leaver with a lot of interest? As an aspiring upholsterer, our client offers complete in-house training. Moreover, from the beginning you will work together with experienced upholsterers who will teach you the tricks of the trade and train you to become a real professional.
What do we expect from you?
- Good manual dexterity and experience with a sewing machine;
- Accuracy, critical ability and flexibility;
- Curiosity and always looking for new solutions;
- You are flexible and motivated;
- You are employed full-time;
- Living in Hoogeveen or surrounding area.
What do we ask of you?
- Practical experience in furniture upholstery is a plus but not a requirement;
- Interested in the profession of furniture upholstery;
- Willingness to learn the trade in practice;
- A salary in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement, starting at €14.06 per hour;
- Travel reimbursement, pension accrual and vacation pay/days;
- Opportunity for a permanent contract;
- Advancement opportunities if performing well.
