You are sitting at your desk, and on your screen you receive an alarm notification. An elderly gentleman has pressed his personal alarm at home. You open the message and ask what is wrong with the gentleman. He says he has fallen and can no longer get up. You use your knowledge and experience, and immediately call a home care worker, who goes there immediately. You maintain contact in the meantime, and reassure this gentleman. You are remote, yet close by and of great value to people who desperately need help and care!
You will deal with:
- Receive alarm calls, analyze and dispatch appropriate assistance;
- Handle administrative processing of customer inquiries.
What do we ask of you?
- A healthcare related education, such as Helper, Care & Wellness, VIG or physician assistant;
- Or: you are training as a nurse;
- Current knowledge of healthcare, including medical terms.
Experience in healthcare is a plus; - Good listening and follow-through ability;
- That you are decisive and firm in your feet;
- Stress resistance and ability to keep cool in crisis situations;
- Good computer skills and able to quickly switch between systems;
- Excellent command of the Dutch language both verbally and in writing;
- Recognition of our client’s core values: optimistic, simple, connecting and close.
